Born in 1966 in Dresden, Germany. Lives and works in Berlin.

Graduated from Hochschule für Kunst at Burg Giebichenstein in 1995 and École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1997.

In 2005 won the 1st Prize of the KINETIC ART ORGANIZATION, USA. In 1997 – 1998  recipient of a working scholarship from the Stiftung Kulturfonds in Berlin.
