Artur Tajber (b. 1953), an intermedia artist involved in the performance art movement since the mid-1970s. He is co-author of unique educational programs in the field of intermedia. Since 2007, head of the Intermedia Department at the Krakow Academy of Fine Arts, where he established the first Polish Studio of Performance Art with the right to grant advanced degrees. In 2012, he became the first dean of the Faculty of Intermedia Arts in Krakow. Member of IAPAO (International Association of Performance Artists and Organizers) and ICG (Internazionales Kunstler Gremium). He belongs to the international program council of the “Inter” art magazine (Quebec City). Author and editor of the METAMUZEUM series of performance art publications. In 2013, he published a book entitled “WALK’MAN – a Street Action.”
