Stephan Us (b. 1966), an artist, curator, lecturer at the Kassel University. Since 1994 he has realized more than 290 performances, all over the world. Awarded Artist-in-Residence North-Rhine-Westfalia scholarships in Finland and Turkey, among other prizes. Since 2001 he works intensively with the paradox of nothingness and related fields, e.g., silence, emptiness, absence. In 2006, he opened the world's only archive of nothing, which is now filled with over 2950 different themed objects.
